My partner and I have recently entered a civil partnership and we wanted the additional security of a pre-civil partnership agreement. This document was being overseen by another local family law firm (commissioned by my partner). Due to significant delays, errors, and poor communication by my partner's law firm, I was unable to organise my own independent legal advice until two weeks prior to our ceremony.
